Behavioral Health/High Abuse Overbed Slot Lights
Lenga’s modest dimensions give medical behavioral health spaces proper lighting without adding bulk. Designed as a minimal overbed luminaire, Lenga provides multi-functional light levels in patient rooms that require ligature and tamper resistance. The dual units work in tandem to illuminate the bed without creating shadows or glare. Models are sold as a pair. Multifunction Slot Lighting for Behavioral Health/High Abuse
Multifunction Output Options Provide Optimal Illumination for Patient Care
These slot lights are incredibly narrow — only 3” wide — and produce asymmetric exam light from the angled outer lenses. The co-extruded lens produces different optics for the two modes, ambient and exam.
The slim form and precise optics allow Ambient mode to use the inner chamber of each unit, while Exam mode emits from the outer edge to directly illuminate the patient bed without shadowing. Combined mode uses both. Behavioral health/high abuse models feature a secondary polycarbonate lens and tamper resistant fasteners.

Lenga can be specified with white LED sources or tunable sources for circadian lighting. These slot lights for behavioral health are thoughtfully designed and eliminate the potential for shadows over the bed and allow caregivers to examine patients without throwing glare in their eyes.

Designed for behavioral health/high abuse spaces, Lenga overbed slot luminaires are built for impact, ligature, and tamper resistance. Here, we test for impact resistance on a mock installation. You can see the mud flange and inner frame with tamper-resistant screws.
